Jivamukti Workshop with Tai Dorn

The practice of Jivamukti is a path based upon the five tenets: Ahimsa (non-harming), Bhakti (devotion), Dhyana (meditation), Nada (deep listening) and Shastra (scriptural study such as the Yoga Sutra, Bhagavad Gita, etc.) Jivamukti class consists of meditation, sanskrit chanting, sutric study and a rigorous asana practice. In this workshop you will be introduced to the Jivamukti method, exploring the 5 tenets of the practice, the energetic tools of pranayama and bandhas as well as the beauty and bhakti of sanskrit chanting. This practice will take you on a transformational journey directing you to reconnect with the divine source within.

Performance Yoga classes are not athletic yoga classes, instead, teachers offer a variety of postures geared toward increasing range of mobility in hips, shoulders, spine, wrists, and ankles with a focus on functional movement. Pace of the class varies at times it may be dynamic with more of a strengthening component and at others it may be more restorative.
