Ayurveda and yoga are beautifully intertwined sciences. Join Amani for a weekend of self discovery, exploration and enlightenment!
Assessing and Maintaining Balance – Saturday 8am-12
What does it mean to be healthy? In this session we will dive into the very essence of Ayurveda. We’ll chat about the 5 elements, dosha theory, the individuality of health and healing, and practical ways we can come back home to ourselves and maintain our health and happiness.
Food is Medicine – Saturday 1-5pm
Food and digestion are paramount to creating and maintaining our health. In this session, we’ll chat about what healthy digestion and elimination look like (literally!), which foods can be enlivening or depleting and how anything we ingest can be medicine or poison. There are no diet fads in Ayurveda – you are unique!
Yoga and Ayurveda – Sunday 8am-12
In this session, we will discover how yoga and Ayurveda are woven together and which postures and practices will bring us closer to who we are. Breath, asana, and meditation practices will be discussed and you will get to create your own personal practice!
A Women’s Circle – Sunday 1-5pm
This session is all about empowering women! As women, we have our very own unique and mysterious cycle. How can we become attuned to our cycles? What are our cycles communicating to us? And most importantly, how do YOU feel about being a woman? This session is for all ages, all women, let’s celebrate the beauty of womanhood!
