Are you hyper flexible? Or maybe you’re super tight. Perhaps you’re somewhere in the middle.
Do you feel that twinge in your shoulder or that pinch in your hips when you practice (or even when you don’t)?
Maybe it’s your knees, your wrists or even your toes or ankles giving you trouble.
It’s not more yoga or more stretching that you need – it’s mobility.
This 2 hour playshop will address your joints and your current range of motion. You’ll learn how to methodically acquire more range and get stronger at the same time while learning the difference between being flexible and being mobile.
Using the principles of Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) you’ll become better at moving both on and off your mat while reducing your risk for injury. FRC utilizes the idea that joints must be independent before they can be interdependent.
So join Suzanne Desmond as she helps you to improve being great at human movement so you can be great at everything else.
This will be a 1hr workshop followed by a 1hr practice and it is intended for ALL levels of practitioners.
Suzanne Desmond is a certified personal trainer with over 10 years experience and a real desire to help people move well. She holds certifications in Natural Movement (CNT), Corrective Exercise (NASM) as well as being a certified FRCms instructor.
